Sorbonne Paris Cité is a higher education and research alliance (Pôle de Recherche et d’Enseignement Superieur, PRES) established on February 10, 2010. It is a Public Institution for Scientific Cooperation bringing together four Parisian universities and four higher education and research institutes:

- Paris 13 University
- Institute of Physics of the Globe (IPGP)
- National Institute of Oriental Languages and Civilizations (INALCO)
